DOCA, Bassline Circus and Full Tilt Aerial co-produced ‘Ceres’, in Devizes Market Place on 1st May 2022.
A story inspired by Ruth Pierce who died there in 1753.
"‘Ceres’ explores the history of rural life, local justice and the lives of 18th Century women through the rituals and customs of the time, using circus, physical theatre, music and storytelling."
This project combined rural heritage, folklore, crafts, music, circus, and performance in an epic show.
